The Honor Guard serves by representing the values of the Delaware River Port Authority Police Department – honor, integrity, professionalism, and service - at ceremonies, parades, and other special events.
The Honor Guard is made up of DRPA police officers who are specially trained in traditional military ceremony and drill. The Honor Guard has represented the police department at a variety of events, including funerals, award ceremonies, police academy graduations, the Camden County Blue Mass, Law Enforcement Memorial Run, and Delaware County Law Enforcement Memorial Day of Remembrance.
Paying respect and tribute is the Honor Guard’s most important mission. The level at which the unit performs will always be high regardless of assignment. Honor Guard members strive to further the reputation and standing of the DRPA Police Department and will achieve these goals by adhering to the high standards which have been set for them.
