K9 Bolt and K9 Officer Nicholson Achieve Explosive Scent Certification

The Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) and Port Authority Transit Corporation (PATCO) are proud to congratulate K9 Bolt and his handler, K9 Officer Nicholson, for their successful completion of the Explosive Scent Certification.

The duo recently participated in the Region Six USPCA (United States Police Canine Association) Explosive Detection Trials, which cover the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Region Six is one of 26 regions across the United States and Canada, and this certification further underscores the dedication and expertise of our DRPA Police Department team.

K9 Bolt and Officer Nicholson’s hard work and teamwork were on full display throughout the trials, demonstrating their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our operations.

This achievement highlights the critical role K9 Bolt plays in supporting the mission of the DRPA Police Department.
