Progressive Railroading Names DRPA/PATCO Leaders as 2025 Women of Influence

The Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) and Port Authority Transit Corporation (PATCO) are proud to announce that Elisabeth Klawunn, Manager of Construction and Maintenance at DRPA, and Beth Pratt, Director of Transit Services at PATCO, have been recognized as part of Progressive Railroading’s 50 Women of Influence in Rail for 2025. This honor celebrates the impactful contributions of women shaping the future of the rail industry.

Elisabeth Klawunn has earned recognition in the Mentorship category for her remarkable leadership in overseeing PATCO’s accessibility improvements and her dedication to mentoring young professionals through DRPA/PATCO’s Youth Exploration Program and her work with WTS Philadelphia. Elisabeth’s commitment to fostering a new generation of professionals, especially women in rail, makes her an invaluable asset to the organization and the industry at large.

Beth Pratt has been honored in the Leadership category as the first woman in PATCO’s history to serve as Director of Transit Services. Beth plays a pivotal role in overseeing PATCO’s operations and ensuring its safety, efficiency, and reliability. Under her leadership, PATCO continues to grow and evolve, providing essential transit service to thousands of commuters daily.
