Bicycles on PATCO
Your bicycle is welcome on PATCO. There are bicycle racks available at most Speedline stations in New Jersey (see map). If you are bringing your bike aboard Speedline trains, please be courteous to other passengers. Stand with your bike and do not block aisles and doors. There is usually more room in the last car of a train. In stations, yield to other people using stairways. Use the elevator when available, and never ride a bike inside a station, in concourses or on the platform.
Bicycle Courtesy:

The cyclist is responsible at all times for injury to self or other persons and for loss of, or damage to, the bicycle and property of others, including PATCO, that may arise from bringing a bicycle into a PATCO station or train.
Always walk bicycles in trains, stations or station areas such as platforms, mezzanines and corridors.
Cyclists must gain access to concourse and platform levels of stations by way of the stairs or elevators if available. Under no circumstances can operating escalators be used.
When available, wheelchair accessible fare gates should be utilized to enter the system. When entering through a non accessible gate, the cyclist must wait until no other passengers are using it or adjacent gates before lifting the bike over the turnstile gate. Tickets should be entered into the gate before lifting the bicycle.
Please wait on platforms behind the yellow warning lines, keeping all parts of self and the bike a minimum two feet from the edge of train platforms except when directly boarding or alighting a vehicle that has stopped with its doors open.
Please allow other persons to exit and enter a train before boarding with a bicycle.
Bicycles are allowed in any car of a train, unless directed otherwise by the train operator, or other authorized PATCO personnel.
On board trains, cyclist must hold the bicycle firmly at all times, with kickstand up, between the windscreens of the non-operating, non-platform side doorway and not allow the bicycle to lean against patrons or any part of the car.
At no time can a cyclist obstruct the platform side operating doorways or the central aisle of rail cars. A cyclist blocking the platform side doorway or aisle or a space required by a disabled person and refusing to relocate to another specified location may be removed from the train.
Bicycles may not be moved between cars of a train through the end doors. Cyclists having a need to transfer from one rail car to another must use the side doors and station platform at authorized station stops.
In the event of an emergency situation, cyclists must follow the directives of all PATCO or emergency response personnel.
In the event of an emergency evacuation of a train, cyclists may be directed to leave their bicycles on the train to assure a safe and orderly evacuation. If the nature of the emergency will not permit the cyclists to reboard the train to get the bike, the bike will remain on the train and it will be taken to the train's storage facility.
PATCO is not responsible for the loss or damage of bicycles while on PATCO property. Lost or abandoned bicycles can be claimed by the owner through the Lost & Found Office. Bikes must be claimed in person and will not be shipped. Cyclists must bring identification and bike serial number with them when claiming a bike. Bikes will not be held or stored by PATCO for more than 60 days.
