OFFICE OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & EQUAL OPPORTUNITY
We Value Diversity
The Delaware River Port Authority has made a strategic decision to diversify its pool of suppliers, contractors, and consultants.
The Office of Business Development & Equal Opportunity (OBD&EO) is the office at the Delaware River Port Authority responsible for administering the Authority's nondiscrimination programs.
The Office of Business Development is proud to provide you with on-line access to its 2007 Year End Report. The report summarizes all awards made to certified disadvantaged, minority and women-owned businesses in 2007, and reports on the actual dollars paid to these businesses.
The Authority spent considerably less money in 2007, and we had few, if any, active construction and engineering-related projects last year. Notwithstanding the limited number of projects and awards, our report summarizes all awards and dollars paid to certified disadvantaged, minority and women-owned businesses last year. Since 1994, the year we implemented our program, we have paid more than $185 million to M/W/DBEs.
