OFFICE OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & EQUAL OPPORTUNITY
We Value Diversity
The Delaware River Port Authority has made a strategic decision to diversify its pool of suppliers, contractors, and consultants.
The Office of Business Development & Equal Opportunity (OBD&EO) is the office at the Delaware River Port Authority responsible for administering the Authority's nondiscrimination programs.
NOTICE
Recently, current U. S. Department of Transportation (DOT) contractors and potential contractors have received fraudulent letters purporting to be issued by DOT. These fraudulent letters request that current or potential contractors register in the Central Contractor Registration System (CCR) and provide other business related information via a fax number. If vendors with whom you do business receive this type of letter, direct them not to complete the requested CCR worksheet or provide any information to the fax number cited in the letter. The CCR is a legitimate government system; however, to register, contractors should go directly through the CCR website and never through a third party. There is no requirement to send information directly to any Federal agency.
The Office of Business Development is proud to provide you with on-line access to its 2006 Year End Report. The report summarizes all awards made to certified disadvantaged, minority and women-owned businesses in 2006, and reports on the actual dollars paid to these businesses.
The Authority spent considerably less money in 2006, and we had few, if any, active construction and engineering-related projects last year. Notwithstanding the limited number of projects and awards, our report summarizes all awards and dollars paid to certified disadvantaged, minority and women-owned businesses last year. Since 1994, the year we implemented our program, we have paid more than $182 million to M/W/DBEs.
