Betsy Ross Bridge Travel Advisory


A project involving milling, resurfacing and joint repairs is currently underway.  Due to the next construction staging phase,  traffic on the approach ramps from I-95 as well as westbound bridge traffic will be impacted. Expect delays.
 
• Eastbound to New Jersey :  From Monday, June 1st  at 8 p.m. until Tuesday, June 2nd  at 6 a.m., there will be intermittent traffic slowdowns and stoppages for up to 15 minutes on both ramps leading from I-95 South and I-95 North to the bridge.  Look for VMS traffic alert signs on I-95 near the Betsy Ross Bridge.

•  Westbound to Pennsylvania: Between Monday, June 1st  at 8 p.m. to Tuesday, June 2nd  at 6 a.m. only 1 lane will be open at the Philadelphia  approach from the bridge. Beginning Tuesday, June 2nd for approximately five (5) weeks, the construction at the Philadelphia approach will result in two (2) travel lanes across the bridge westbound and periodic traffic slowdowns westbound to Pennsylvania during the daytime hours.
