Ben Franklin Bridge Gears Up For Another Phillies Championship

The Ben Franklin Bridge is stepping up to the plate as the Phillies begin their National League Championship Series tonight against the Los Angeles Dodgers on the West Coast.

A banner has been placed on the East face of the New Jersey tower so drivers heading into Philadelphia can see the message “Fightin’ To The Finish! Go Phillies”

The banner will be in place as long as the Phillies continue to play in baseball’s post-season.  If there is another World Series Championship Parade, the Bridge Banner will remain in place to be part of that celebration.

The Delaware River Port Authority is a regional transportation agency.  DRPA owns and operates the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross Bridges, PATCO and the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal.  The DRPA also owns the RiverLink Ferry.
