An Important Notice To DRPA E-ZPass Customers:

Good News!

DRPA E-ZPass has joined the New Jersey E-ZPass system. E-ZPass account holders now have expanded benefits that include internet and enhanced telephone access.

The switch occurred on July 19. You may have already received a cover letter that not only describes some of these new benefits but also includes your new account number and the Service Center mailing address.  According to a New York Times article, E-ZPass Progress, dated March 21, 2004, The New Jersey E-ZPass automated toll system, which was fraught with bugs in its early years, seems to have worked out the kinks, and is now ready to assume control over the system that collects tolls on the Delaware River bridges.

E-ZPass Goes Online

With online access, you can check your account balance, view your daily transactions, or request a new transponder. You can also update your account with vehicle, credit card or personal information. These are just a few of the conveniences of online and enhanced telephone access. Under separate cover, you will receive a letter containing your pin number for access to your account information on the New Jersey E-ZPass website, www.EZPassNJ.com or the toll free number.

As an added benefit, you can have your bi-monthly E-ZPass statement emailed at no additional charge. Please note that you will now receive your statement on the anniversary date of when your account was first opened.

New Service Center Locations

The Customer Service Center located at 420 N. 6th Street in Camden is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. However, please note the Customer Service Centers new toll free number, 1-888-AUTO-TOLL(1-888-288-6865). In addition to the Camden Customer Service Center, you can also visit New Jersey’s other two E-ZPass Customer Service Centers in Newark, New Jersey, at 375 McCarter Highway (Route 21) or on the New Jersey Turnpike at the John Fenwick Plaza Service Area in Penns Grove.

Some Things will Remain the Same

Although many changes and enhancements were made, some aspects of your E-ZPass account have remained the same. You can still receive a free bi-monthly statement, however, if you opt to request monthly statements, there will now be an additional fee. You can still take advantage of DRPA’s E-ZPass Discount Program that includes the Commuter Credit of $18 for 18 trips in a calendar month. The 10 percent discount for DRPA Commercial Account holders continues to apply. The $1 monthly administrative fee for all customers is still in place.

We are pleased to be able to offer these new expanded services to you. For more information on New Jersey E-ZPass, visit www.EZPassNJ.com or call 1-888-AUTO-TOLL (1-888-288-6865).
