Who We Are and What We Do
The DRPA/PATCO CAC was established in 2010 to encourage and enlist the participation of citizen customers who have a stake in the Authority's day to day operations. CAC is comprised of 24 members representing PA and NJ who are bridge and PATCO transit users.
The Citizen Advisory Committee works in cooperation with DRPA but is independent and advisory in nature. CAC meetings are open to the public and cover a wide range of topics including Authority operations, budgets, policy, and issues of general concern.
Become a Member
Those interested in becoming a CAC member must complete and submit an application, which is available for downloading at www.drpa.org or www.ridepatco.org. Applications are also available at all four bridges and at all PATCO stations. Applicants may not be related to any Commissioner, Officer or Authority employee. No vendors or employees of companies doing business with DRPA or PATCO are eligible. When a CAC opening(s) becomes available, the current CAC members will select a potential candidate from the pool of previously submitted applications. CAC will propose a candidate for final approval by the DRPA Board. Applications will be kept on file for 2 years from the date of submission.
