The new 19-mile alignment would begin in Camden and travel south via I-676 to Route 42 and the Atlantic City Expressway where it would be located in the median.

The new 16 mile alignment would begin in Camden and travel south via I-676 and Route 42 to Route 55 where it would be located in the median. The 24.5-mile extension to Millville would be implemented as a second phase, initially with a diesel mode and eventually with PATCO type service and mode.

NJ-3: PATCO or Modified PATCO from Camden to Glassboro/Millville via Railroad Right-of-Way

The new alignment would begin in Camden and travel 18.5 miles south along an existing railroad, either fully or partially grade separated to avoid roadway crossings. The 21.5-mile extension to Millville would be implemented as a second phase initially with a diesel mode and eventually with PATCO type service and mode.

A new service to begin at PATCO’s Franklin Square Station (currently closed) to Spring Garden Street and Pier 70 along Columbus Boulevard. Service could be extended to the redeveloping Navy Yard area and new stadium complexes in South Philadelphia.

An extension of SEPTA’s Subway/Surface light rail system underground along Market Street to Columbus Boulevard with service extending at-grade north to Spring Garden Street and south to the Pier 70 shopping plaza. Service could be extended to the redeveloping Navy Yard area and new stadium complexes in South Philadelphia.
