The Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) and the Port Authority Transit Corporation (PATCO) a wholly owned subsidiary of the DRPA (collectively, the “Authority”) are dedicated to assuring the safety and security of the members of the public who use the Authority’s facilities.

As stewards of public assets, we provide for the safe and efficient operation of transportation services and facilities in a manner that creates value for the public we serve.

Vision Statement

Together we are world-class stewards of public transportation assets. Working collaboratively across all business units, we operate, maintain, improve and protect transportation infrastructure for the benefit of the citizens we serve throughout the Greater Philadelphia Region. We are committed to building credibility, earning public trust and creating public value.


The Authority takes an active role in connecting and serving our surrounding communities. We believe it is important to be proactive in building relationships with residents, community leaders & groups as well as federal, state and local government officials.

Our Community Relations department serves as a valuable resource for, residents and community organizations regarding community-related issues, offering updates on major projects, request from the community that advance the objectives of the Authority, promoting programs that show appreciation and value to our facilities as well as the day-to-day business of the Port Authority. As a result, we demonstrate dedication and compassion to being world class Stewards of Service to our Community!
