SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT BRIDGE TOLL PROGRAM
DRPA recently approved a change to its bridge toll schedule and PATCO fares. As part of the changes, the Senior Citizen Discount Program will now require the use of E-Zpass. Below is further information about the changes:
Effective September 14, 2008, seniors who use coupons will pay $2.00 (2 coupons) per trip. This will be in effect until September 1, 2010. After that date, Seniors who wish to continue in the program will be asked to open an E-ZPass account.
Effective September 14, 2008, seniors who sign up for a senior citizen E-ZPass account will pay a discounted toll of $1.75.
Paper coupons/tickets will no longer be sold after December 31, 2008.
Effective September 1, 2010 seniors using senior citizen E-ZPass account will pay $2.50.
Thereafter, the senior citizen toll (using a senior citizen E-ZPass account) will remain at fifty percent (50%) of the basic vehicle toll.
