GREEN PASS DISCOUNT PROGRAM
Beginning September 14, 2008, the Delaware River Port now offers drivers of low emissions vehicles a $1.00 discount off the full fare for using our facilities.
 Under the plan, a discounted toll of $3 (regular toll is $4) will be offered to low-emission vehicles that get at least 45 miles to the gallon and meet the California Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (SULEV) or pre-model year 2005 hybrid vehicles certified to the California Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV).
Currently eligible vehicles are:
- Honda Insight (2000 to 2004 models)
- Honda Civic (2003 to 2008 models)
- Toyota Prius (2001 to 2008 models)
In order to participate in the plan, Green Pass users must register for New Jersey E-ZPass. To sign up, new and current New Jersey E-ZPass account holders who drive qualifying vehicles can request that the Green Pass Discount Plan be added to their account. To do so, customers must submit a copy of their motor vehicle registration for the qualifying vehicle to New Jersey E-ZPass Customer Service at PO Box 52003 Newark, NJ 07101 or by bringing documentation to any of the New Jersey E-ZPass Customer Service Centers. Please Note: Green Pass transponders are not transferable to any other vehicle. Inappropriate use of the Green Pass Discount Plan may result in termination of participation in the program, and the assessment of any toll rebates previously issued against the account holder.
Additionally,
DRPA currently
offers three
discount
programs - a
Commuter
Discount,
Senior Discount
and Green Pass
discount. These
discounts are
exclusive and
can not be
combined.
Therefore,
bridge customers
are encouraged
to select the
discount program
that best fits
their needs.
