Contract No. PATCO-62-2017 PATCO Collingswood Station Parking Lot Drainage System Rehabilitation


Sealed Bids for Contract No. PATCO-62-2017, PATCO Collingswood Station Parking Lot Drainage System Rehabilitation will be received during normal business hours at the office of the Chief Engineer, Delaware River Port Authority, One Port Center, Seventh Floor, 2 Riverside Drive, Camden, New Jersey 08101, until 2:30 p.m., local time, June, 29, 2017 and immediately taken to the Engineering Conference Room and publicly opened and read.

The work to be completed under this contract consists of the construction of the removal of existing storm drain corrugated metal pipes (CMP), the installation of new storm drain pipes, and the reconstruction of associated manholes and inlets within the DRPA/PATCO parking lot area in Collingswood, NJ.  Work also includes the installation of bicycle safe grates and castings, the installation of curb pieces that conform to current New Jersey standards, as well as the installation of detectable warning surface (DWS) where applicable.  Existing site conditions and underground utilities (other than drainage) are to be maintained as-is, and to be restored to pre-construction condition once construction disturbance is complete.

A complete description of the work and full information for Contract Bidders is given in the Contract Documents.  Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained by prospective bidders at the office of the Authority, Division of Engineering, One Port Center, Seventh Floor, 2 Riverside Drive, Camden, New Jersey 08101, beginning June, 13, 2017, weekdays from 8:30 a.m. through 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. through 4:00 p.m.  A payment of $200.00 by check or money order, made payable to the Delaware River Port Authority, will be required for each set of Contract Documents. Once purchased, no refunds will be issued, even to firms submitting bids. Contract Documents cannot be ordered nor delivered by mail.

A Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting will be held starting at 10:00 a.m., local time on June 19, 2017 in the 7th Floor Conference Room of One Port Center, 2 Riverside Drive, Camden, NJ 08101. All bidders shall be expected to completely and thoroughly examine all Contract Documents to become fully aware of the project scope and requirements prior to submitting a bid.

The Authority will consider only those bids received from parties who have obtained Contract Documents directly from the Authority.  Contract Documents are not transferable to other parties for bidding purposes.  Bids received from firms whose names are not recorded by the Authority as having secured documents for this Contract will be rejected.
