Contract No. PATCO-54-2014 - Replacement of Rectifier Transformers Phase II and Lindenwold Emergency Diesel Generator

Sealed bids for Contract No. PATCO-54-2014, Replacement of Rectifier Transformers Phase II and Lindenwold Emergency Diesel Generator will be received during normal business hours at the office of the Chief Engineer, Delaware River Port Authority, One Port Center, Seventh Floor, 2 Riverside Drive, Camden, New Jersey 08101, until 10:30 am, local time, July 16, 2015 and immediately taken to the Engineering Conference Room and publicly opened and read.
 
The work to be completed under this contract consists of all work required to procure and install eight (8) new rectifier transformers at Ferry Avenue, Collingswood, Ashland East and Lindenwold substations.  The scope shall also include all work required to procure install one (1) new auxiliary transformer, one (1) automatic transfer systems, and one (1) new emergency diesel generator in Lindenwold substation, new 480V cable to Lindenwold shop, as well as modifications in Lindenwold shop.
 
A complete description of the work and full information for bidders is given in the bid documents.  Copies of the bid documents may be obtained by prospective bidders at the office of the Authority, Division of Engineering, One Port Center, Seventh Floor, 2 Riverside Drive, Camden, New Jersey 08101, beginning June 15, 2015, weekdays from 8:30 a.m. through 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. through 4:00 p.m. A payment of $200.00 by check or money order, made payable to the Delaware River Port Authority, will be required for each set of bid documents. Once purchased, no refunds will be issued, even to firms submitting bids.  Bid documents cannot be ordered nor delivered by mail.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held starting at 10:30 am, local time on June 18, 2015at One Port Center, Seventh Floor, 2 Riverside Drive, Camden, New Jersey 08101. A subsequent site visit will be scheduled during the pre-bid meeting. All bidders shall be expected to completely and thoroughly examine all bid documents to become fully aware of the project scope and requirements prior to submitting a bid.
 

The Authority will consider only those bids received from parties who have obtained bid documents directly from the Authority. Bid documents are not transferable to other parties for bidding purposes. Bids received from firms whose names are not recorded by the Authority as having secured documents for this contract and attended the mandatory pre-bid meeting will be rejected.
