RFQ - Request for Appraisal of DRPA-owned M/V Freedom Ferry


The DRPA owns a double-ended ferry, the Freedom, that operates seasonally for recreational purposes between docks at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Wiggins Park in Camden, New Jersey. The ferry system is marketed under the name RiverLink Ferry System”. The Delaware River Port Authority/PATCO requests a quotation from you for the cost to provide an appraisal of the value of the Ferry (Sale or Leasehold). Please estimate the market value in fee simple title. The intended use of the ferry is to remain as a seasonal operation for recreational purposes.
 
On Monday, September 15, at 10:00 am, there will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting followed by a Site Visit to the Ferry. The meeting will take place at in the Multi-Purpose Room on the 11th floor of One Port Center at 2 Riverside Drive in Camden, NJ.    
 
The Authority’s Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution stating Bidders seeking contracted work must be prevented from influencing the vendor selection process. If your bid will exceed $25,000, the attached Political Contribution Form and the Certification must be completed and submitted in a separately sealed envelope labeled “POLITICAL CONTRIBUTION FORM AND CERTIFICATION” along with your Bid.
