RFQ - Construction Management Services For Contract No. 12H - PATCO Accessibility Improvements

The Delaware River Port Authority (Authority) hereby invites interested professional consulting engineering firms to submit a Statement of Qualifications for providing construction management services for the PATCO Ferry Avenue Station located in Camden, NJ and 9th/10th Street Station located in Philadelphia, PA.

The Scope of Services the Authority requires shall include all construction management services including but not limited to, inspection and management of all work to ensure that it is done in compliance with the Contract Plans and Specifications, inspection of construction materials and work procedures to be used at the site to ensure compliance with the contract Plans and Specifications and all such other services as may be required to complete construction management services of the highest quality. The scope shall also include review of project schedules, review and approval of shop drawings, review and recommend contractor’s invoices payment, process change orders, responding to request for Information, prepare final punch list, and project closure activities including as-built drawings. The firm shall exhibit professional staff knowledgeable in providing construction management services plus other applicable federal, state, and local requirements.

Six (6) copies of the written Statement of Qualifications and U.S. Government Forms SF330 must be received by the Authority no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2010. The Statement of Qualifications should be addressed to Mr. Mike Venuto, P.E., Acting Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer, Delaware River Port Authority, One Port Center, 2 Riverside Drive, P.O. Box 1949, Camden, New Jersey 08101. The mailing envelope containing the Statement of Qualifications shall be labeled "Contract No. 12 H, PATCO Accessibility Improvements, Ferry Avenue Station, Camden, NJ and 9th/10th Street Station, Philadelphia, PA - RFQ". The Statement of Qualifications shall describe, in three (3) pages, the qualifications of the firm and the key personnel’s experience providing construction management services on installation of new elevators work successfully completed in the last five years by the firm and the key personnel. The Statement of Qualifications will be used by the Authority to establish a short list of consultants to receive a Request for Proposal and to engage a consultant for this project.

However, MBE and WBE team members must be named, and commitment levels must be noted at the time the bid or proposal is submitted.
