RFQ - Construction Inspection Services for PATCO Accessibility Improvements Ferry Avenue Station Camden, NJ

The Delaware River Port Authority (Authority) hereby invites interested professional consulting engineering firms to submit a Statement of Qualifications for Construction Inspection Services for PATCO Accessibility Improvements Ferry Avenue Station in Camden, NJ. The work to be completed under this contract consists of the installation of elevator from the Concourse to the Station Platform and the necessary selective demolition and site improvements to accommodate the installation of the new elevators

The scope of services the Authority requires includes, but is not limited to : schedule and cost control, construction inspection, inspection reporting and document control, field engineering, review of contractor-proposed substitutions and changes, review and approval of shop drawings, contract document interpretation and issue resolution, change order processing, progress payment processing, determination of substantial and final completion, preparation of As-Built documents, assistance with contractor claims resolutions, conducting, taking and preparing project progress/status meeting minutes.

Six (6) copies of the written Statement of Qualifications and U.S. Government Forms SF 330 must be received by the Authority no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2009. The Statements of Qualifications should be addressed to Mr. William C. Brooks, P.E., Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer, Delaware River Port Authority, One Port Center, 2 Riverside Drive, P.O. Box 1949, Camden, New Jersey 08101. The mailing envelope containing the Statement of Qualifications shall be labeled "Construction Inspection Services for PATCO Accessibility Improvements Ferry Avenue Station in Camden,”. The Statement of Qualifications shall describe, in four (4) pages or less, the qualifications of the firm and the key personnel in the area of, management similar or related construction, construction inspections and management of project with and shall briefly describe projects successfully completed in the last five years by the firm and the key personnel. The Statement of Qualifications will be used by the Authority to establish a short list of Consultants to receive a Request for Proposal.

However, MBE and WBE team members must be named, and commitment levels must be noted at the time the bid or proposal is submitted.

This public advertisement constitutes the Delaware River Port Authority's formal solicitation to determine the interest of qualified professional consulting firms in the stated project.
