Request For Proposals - Riverlink Ferry System Master Plan

Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting and Site Visit Friday, August 1, 2008 at 10:00 AM,Wiggins Park Ferry Dock, Camden, NJ

RFPs Due No Later Than 4:00 p.m. On August 15, 2008

The Delaware River Port Authority (Authority) hereby invites professional transportation planning and/or consulting engineering firms to submit Technical and Cost Proposals for the preparation of a Five Year Master Plan for the Riverlink Ferry System, which currently provides seasonal ferry service between Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia, PA and Wiggins Park in Camden, NJ.  The Master Plan will identify a detailed blueprint for growth of the system over a five year period, with the goal of maximizing revenue and efficiency of operations.  DRPA envisions that the Master Plan will include a comprehensive market analysis, as well as a detailed analysis of growth and expansion opportunities utilizing new routes and/or landings.

A mandatory pre-proposal meeting and site visit will be held on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Wiggins Park ferry dock in Camden, NJ.  The mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will include a tour of the Camden and Philadelphia docking sites, as well as a tour of the Ferry.  A proposal received from any firm which is not represented at the pre-proposal meeting will not be considered and will be returned to the firm unopened.

Six (6) copies of the written Technical and Cost Proposals prepared in accordance with DRPA’s RFP must be received by the Authority no later than 4:00 p.m. on August 15, 2008.  Proposals should be addressed to Howard Korsen.
